QRDERS

Terms of Service

Last updated October 2026. These terms cover everyone using QRDERS, whether you sign up as an individual or as a business.

1. Who this is between

QRDERS is operated by HOSPITIUM QRDERS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17116477), registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, trading as QRDERS. These terms are between you and us. You can sign up as an individual, as someone working for yourself, or on behalf of a company, and the same terms apply to all three. By ticking “I agree” at signup, or by continuing to use QRDERS, you accept them.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law gives you. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in applies on top of what is written here.

2. What QRDERS gives you

QRDERS gives your business a QR menu your customers open on their phone, that menu in every language we support, an AI editor for changing it, a website for your business, a TV menu board, and Plus, the paid plan that adds to them. We write the software. You run your business on it: your products, your prices, your opening hours, and how you look after your customers.

3. Buying Plus

Plus costs €12 for a whole year. You pay once for that year, and the Plus page shows the amount in your own currency wherever we have an exact price for it. There is no contract and no cancellation fee.

It renews once a year at the same price for as long as you keep it. Buying is switched on country by country; where it is not on, the button on the Plus page says so and nothing is charged.

Plus is bought from us through an online reseller, so the receipt for it comes from that reseller rather than from us. How to cancel it, how to get your money back and what your rights are are all in our refunds and cancellations policy.

4. If you buy as a consumer

Anyone can sign up: an individual, a sole trader or a company. If you are a consumer, the law of the country you live in gives you rights that these terms cannot take away, and that applies whether you are buying for yourself or for a business of your own.

You can cancel a purchase within 14 days of buying it. On top of that, our own policy gives you 30 days from the charge to ask for your money back, with no reason needed. Both are set out in our refunds and cancellations policy.

If something goes wrong, email us first. Where we cannot put it right, you can use the usual consumer remedies in the country you live in.

5. Your menu, your words and your pictures

You keep ownership of everything you put into QRDERS: your products, your prices, your descriptions, your photos and videos, and your logo. You give us a licence to store it, to show it to your customers and to process it to run the service, including on your public QRDERS pages.

We may use aggregated and de-identified figures from across QRDERS to produce benchmarks and to improve our features, including automatic ones such as reading a menu, writing descriptions and translating. Our search and map tools use information that is already public about nearby businesses. We do this the way our privacy policy sets out, and we never sell data that identifies you or your customers.

6. What you are responsible for

You are responsible for what your menu says and for whether it is true: your products, your prices, your opening hours, and any allergen, ingredient or age information your law requires you to give. You are responsible for running your business lawfully, including any licence, food-safety or consumer-protection rule that applies where you operate. Where your customers give you their personal data, handling it for your own purposes is your responsibility as a business in your own right.

7. Liability

We’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, goodwill or sales. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at what you have paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Suspension and ending

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account immediately if we reasonably believe it’s breaking these terms, putting customers or the platform at risk, or required by law. Amounts already due remain payable, and the clauses on your content, liability and governing law survive after an account ends.

9. Your account

You must give accurate contact details, and business details where we ask for them, and keep them current. You are responsible for everything done under your account. Keep your login to yourself and tell us promptly if you think somebody else has got into it.

10. Acceptable use

Don’t use QRDERS to sell anything illegal where you operate, to defraud anyone, to launder money, or to send unlawful messages. Don’t probe, overload or interfere with the platform, and don’t resell it as your own. We can remove content or close an account that breaks this.

Don’t use the AI Editor, or any other AI feature in QRDERS, to write, change or translate sexually explicit or adult content, or content that sexualises minors, or to produce pornography, erotic material or adult services of any kind. This covers menus, descriptions, names, translations and images. We may remove any such content and close the account that produced it.

11. What unlimited means

Unlimited for real people. Automated or bot traffic is not included. Where a plan says unlimited (scans, edits, menus, photos or translations), it covers the people who run your business and the guests who visit it. Scripts, crawlers, scrapers and other automated traffic don’t count towards it, and we may limit or block that traffic.

12. Where your data is handled

QRDERS is operated from the United Kingdom and uses service providers in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and elsewhere, including the United States. Where personal data moves between those places we rely on the transfer mechanisms the law provides: an adequacy decision where one exists, and otherwise the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, with the additional safeguards those require.

If you are established outside the EEA and the UK, the same protections apply to you: we do not lower the standard by country. The processors we use, and what each one is used for, are listed in our privacy policy, which we keep current.

13. Availability

We work to keep the service running but provide it “as is” and don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and may change or withdraw features. Where we can, we’ll give reasonable notice of a material change.

14. Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. We’ll give reasonable notice of a material change, by email or in the dashboard, and may ask you to accept the new version before you continue. The version you accepted governs until you accept a new one.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, that does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.

Annex A — country-specific terms

This annex forms part of the terms. Only the entry for your own country applies to you. Where it conflicts with the body of the terms, this annex wins for your country.

Merchants outside the EEA and the UK — data transfers

Where personal data moves outside the EEA or the UK we rely on an adequacy decision where one exists, and otherwise on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. This applies equally whether your business is in the EEA or not.

Who you are contracting with, and VAT

HOSPITIUM QRDERS LTD is registered for VAT in the United Kingdom under number GB 519 6557 56. Any invoice for Plus shows the VAT treatment that applies to you: UK VAT if you are in the United Kingdom, the reverse charge if you are in the EU and have given us a valid VAT number, in which case you account for the VAT yourself, and outside the scope of UK VAT if you are elsewhere.
