A free QR menu for a hotel: one menu for every room and every guest
A hotel guest gets to reception once and then decides not to bother. They do not want to walk down to ask what the pool opens at, whether the café is still serving, or what a taxi to the old town costs.
They want to read it, in the language they think in, on the phone that is already in their hand.
What does the guest find in the room?
A code on the desk, one by the door, one in the lift. The guest scans it and the menu opens in their browser: breakfast, the drinks list, what is open today and until when, and the local recommendations you would give a friend.
No app to install, no account, no password. For a guest on the second day of a trip with data roaming switched off, that is the whole difference between reading your menu and not bothering.
Can guests read the menu in their own language?
We translate your menu into 82 languages automatically, and each guest reads it in the language their phone is set to. A guest from Osaka, a guest from Munich and a guest from three streets away all read the same breakfast list in their own words.
One list, edited once. You are not maintaining a German version and an English version and discovering at nine in the morning that one of them still says yesterday's price.
Anything the translation gets wrong, you correct by hand, and the correction stays. A dish name that is local, a dish that is on the breakfast list under a name only your chef uses: those are the lines to look at once.
What belongs on a hotel menu?
- Breakfast and drinks, with prices, hours and photographs. The guest reads this at seven in the morning without asking anyone.
- What is open today, per part of the day. Pool, gym, restaurant, bar, and the last hour each of them is open. This is the list that goes stale fastest and is worth the most.
- How to reach you, your address, your telephone and your map location, in the guest's language.
- The recommendations. The three places worth a guest's afternoon and the one market they should not leave without. A small hotel wins on this more often than on the breakfast buffet.
- The allergens on anything served at breakfast, where a guest with an allergy can filter and read what is left instead of asking at a crowded table.
There is no cap on photographs, short videos or edits, so the same list can hold a summer terrace menu and a winter one.
Can several hotels have several menus?
A hotel is not one menu. Breakfast in the main restaurant, the poolside list, the café by the lift, the menu for the two suites on the top floor, and a summer list for the terrace.
You build each one separately, give it its own QR code, and see which ones guests actually open, at what hour and in which language. There is no cap on the number of menus and no cap on the number of locations, and each location is on the map with a link to its own menu.
Can the menu run on a screen in reception?
The same menu drives a screen. Set the hours for each part of the day and the board shows what is open now, in your own time zone, wherever the television is plugged in. You can see how many guests scan the board each day, so you know whether the one behind the desk is earning its space.
What does it cost?
No monthly fee, and nothing is metered. A hotel with three outlets and a hundred rooms pays the same for the month as a hotel with one.
The free plan includes the menu, the translations, every QR code, unlimited menus and locations, unlimited photographs, your own web page where Google can find you, and menu analytics that show what gets read and in which language.
Plus is one yearly price. It adds sharper photographs and video with their sound, your logo when a guest shares your page, and a higher place on the map when someone looks for somewhere to stay nearby. It also keeps the AI Editor available at your busiest moments, when the free version is on shared capacity and can take a few minutes. The current price is on the pricing page, and it is optional.
How do you start this afternoon?
- Photograph the breakfast list you have in the kitchen, or upload the PDF.
- Let the AI build the menu, then check every line. You know that the fruit arrives at seven and not at six.
- Print the code for the room, the lift and reception. Every code points at a link you control, so tomorrow's price change needs no new sticker.
- Type one sentence when something changes. The AI Editor changes every line that matches, shows you what it will do, and saves nothing until you approve it.
What should you check before you settle on one?
The language count on the front of a box does not mean the same thing in every app: one counts the languages in its buttons, another counts the top plan only. We read what four other apps say about their own translation on their own sites in what a QR menu app's language number actually means, and our head-to-head pages and per-country comparisons are on the compare page.

What should a hotel put on its QR menu?
Your breakfast list, your drinks list, what is open today and until when, and the handful of places nearby that you would actually recommend. A guest wants the hours and the prices without walking down to reception to ask for them.
Can one hotel use different menus in different rooms?
Yes. Build a separate menu for each floor, each outlet, each restaurant or each season, each with its own code and its own analytics, so you can see which list a guest actually opened. There is no cap on the number of menus or locations.
How much does a QR menu cost a hotel?
The free plan has no monthly fee and nothing is metered, so a full season and a quiet week cost the same. Plus is one yearly price, and it is optional.
