Digital menu in the Maldives (2026): QRDERS vs Menu.mv and Qvian

In the Maldives the menu is read by guests from many countries, often on a phone at a table or on a sunbed. That makes three questions matter: what the free plan includes, what the first paid plan costs and whether the menu can be read in a language other than English. Menu.mv and Qvian publish their prices on their own sites, so we put them in one table with QRDERS. We make QRDERS, so we have an interest in the result; the date and the sources are visible so you can check every line.

Sources: the figures for Menu.mv and Qvian come from their own sites (Menu.mv pricing, Qvian pricing), read on 24 October 2026. Prices and plans change, so confirm them on the service's page before you decide.

Where are Menu.mv and Qvian better?

Menu.mv gives a small business a free plan with the pieces a menu actually needs: two menu pages, two links, business details and a QR code created at signup. Premium at MVR 185 a month, billed yearly, is the lowest published price of the three services here.

Qvian is not only a menu. It sells a business suite, and its street vendor plan at MVR 750 a month is cheaper than the restaurant plan, which helps a small beach stand. Because it prices per location, a business with several outlets can see the whole cost before signing.

QRDERS does one job: a menu any guest can read in their own language, with no monthly fee and no scan limit. The menu your customers open carries no adverts and no QRDERS watermark.

What should you check before choosing a digital menu?

Ask each service the same five questions. Does the free plan expire, and how many menu pages or scans does it allow? Is the price per business or per location? Is translation included, or paid separately? Does the guest menu show adverts or the provider's name? What happens to the printed QR code when you change a price?
